A diet that contains almonds can help lower cholesterol levels. This is revealed by a study by researchers in Toronto.
If until now they were known for their excellent contribution of Vitamin E, magnesium, fiber and protein, the study has found that a healthy diet for the heart, which include almonds, is so effective, to achieve a decrease in LDL or bad cholesterol, as can be the first-generation statins or other drugs that make it go down.
Also, another recent study appeared, also emphasized the properties of this dry fruit, noting that adding a daily ration of almonds to a low calorie diet, increased weight loss.
